Silence ruled the castle, the only movement being a dark figure moving from shadow
to shadow in the eerie halls. The figure watched, making sure he was not followed through the
dark corridor.
Panic constricted my throat, my body reeling at the thought of him being caught.
He continued on his journey, his footsteps silent and quick. Shouting shattered the silence,
armor clanking. The figure sped up, his cloak flaring behind him like a pair of giant black wings.
The shouting grew louder, his efforts becoming more and more futile. His build was lithe, but

I got permission from a friend to write about something that I love, that he had the idea of.
